I highly recommend it.Prairie Scrapshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17051826828338254780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292301382452553774.post-89724786285942870402013-03-05T20:10:33.686-08:002013-03-05T20:10:33.686-08:00You are one brave gal. Aren't drop cloths great?
I'm envious of your sewing techniques. Not sure I could do what you did and I've been sewing for years.
I have a club chair that I love except for the pinkish/blue whatever plaid on it, (it was a Habitat Restore purchase). It had a skirt and hubs took that off for me, what a difference that made in how the chair looks, more open.

I bought upholstery type fabric I got at Walmart for $2.50 yard on clearance. Now I'm not sure I want to use it as I want to change my color palette in living room. Good time to change huh? I noticed MMS had a video for making slip covers. I think I'd better watch them a few times. I think the drop cloths would be much better to work with on the chair. My machine isn't always too crazy about sewing heavier fabric. The fabric I bought will get used for something else someday.
Sure am glad I saw your post about making slip covers for your couches. I'll look forward to seeing how your big couch turns out. Glad you took pics of different angles on your first sofa, very helpful. You have truly inspired me. That was over a year ago. I am inspired by your project and I think you did a bang up job! Your piping is great and I love the pleats on the bottom! I understand your wanting to take a break!

Perhaps now I will get myself in my sewing room and cover the 2 chairs that need covering!

I would love it if you would link your DIY project up to the In and Out of the Kitchen link party. It is live now and runs through Wednesday. The party is for DIY projects, crafts, recipes and etsy shops! Hope to see you there!

Cynthia at http://FeedingBig.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01542918863237046287noreply@blogger.com
