Repurposed Pig Cutting Board

Whenever I find one of these homemade cutting boards of a pig cutout at thrift stores, I snatch it up!  This one only cost $2!  The last one I did, I gave it to one of our pig buyers along with a plate of homemade cookies.  I thought it was a fun touch.

Here’s the supplies I used:

Ponytail Baseball Caps - ink how to

This was such a fast and easy project!  I got the hats at Hobby Lobby.  You can get the ink, transfers and sqeegee HERE.  Literally, this took only a few minutes to make, but is so cute!!  I just love this project!

Purchasing the materials from My website helps support my small business.  If you’d like me to make one for you, or would like to purchase one of these, please contact me at: doristowell@yahoo.com.  I’d love to hear what you think!

Girl’s Weekend T-shirts

My family treated me to a girl’s trip this last weekend for my 50th birthday.  I decided that it would be fun for us to have matching t-shirts, so I made 4 of these this last weekend.  It was so fun to make, and also so much fun to wear them!

This is the October Club Couture Transfer and the Ink colors are bright white, papaya and candy apple.  The fact that I was able to make 4 t-shirts just the same, was amazing.  If you’d like to join my club and get a transfer with 3 chalks (won’t stay on a t-shirt - ink will need to be purchased) this is the best deal around - just $19.99 a month.

Inked onesies and a mask

I’m going to be a grandma!  I found these onesies on Amazon for about $1.25 a piece in a 5 pack.  I decided to buy a bunch of them and ink them with some of the mini transfers I have on hand.
I think they turned out quite cute!
This is a mask that my daughter made, so we decided to it it as well!

The “New” Crafting She Shed - aka The Craft Clipper

I’ve been pondering using our 1953 Airstream Clipper for a craft she shed instead of using it as storage.  It’s too small right now for us to camp in, so we move it back and forth in the back yard to mow under it and everything that we can’t decide what to do with it, we put in there to store it!  Well, I decided to actually use it to make my crafts and hopefully get all my craft items stored in there too!

One of the issues I do have is that I have everything stored everywhere - in the house, in my laundry, in storage, you name it!  I’ve stashed craft projects everywhere!  It will be so nice to have a place to go and create and also be able to know where everything is and be inspired by all of that.

I convinced my husband to bring it up to my driveway near the house and help me clean it out.  While it was cleaned out, I did a video tour of it so you could see what it looks like before I get my creating in there!

My pipe dream is to have a pop craft show in it too!  We’ll see!

Fall Decor from the Dollar Tree

I was pretty excited to see the fall chipboard signs at Dollar Tree this week.  I went a little crazy, but at least I have a medium to use for all my fall transfers.    These leaves were so fun, we did a Facebook Live while we made these.

Here’s what we used to make these:

I used the Waverly paints to cover the the chipboard leaves.  Before chalking the transfers on the leaves, I put a light coat of wax on it.  Then the fun part of chalking the transfers!  Check out the videos to see how we made these!

Hello Kit - Almost a disaster!

When this kit came out, I will say, I was so excited about how fun it was going to be for my customers!  Plus, I just had to have one for myself.  Little did I know that it would sell out so quickly!  It was quite a hit!  All of our kits are so well thought out and include everything to complete it from start to finish.
I had a ton of extra chalk paste left when I finished the Hello Kit, so I made a couple of extra projects while I had the black chalk paste single open!
Here’s what the kit looked like when I opened it!
This goes to show you that anyone can do this!  I accidentally put the “hello” on upside down!  See that whole in the bottoms?  Thankfully, everything is fixable with chalk!  I washed the entire white section off with a board eraser and water and started again!
Here’s what it looked like after erasing the entire thing!

Whew!  I saved it and I love it!  Be sure to check out our newest kits HERE!
