National Upcycle Day

This is my National Upcycle day project.  I found this sign at the Deseret Industries thrift store in Idaho Falls when we went shopping with my son at ccollege.  It was $1.50!  I figured with wood prices right now, I couldn’t go wrong!

Here’s the sign before I up cycled it!  It was cutout card stock that was modpodged to the board.  It was really stuck on.  I used a palm sander with quite a bit of pressure to get it to come off.  There was a gummy residue that had to go too!
